Who in your life disappoints you most often? A close friend or family member? Maybe a co-worker or boss? Maybe yourself?
When was the last time you were disappointed with God? That might seem like a crazy question – after all, we’re usually taught we can’t be disappointed with God. God is perfect and we’re not, so if we have a problem with the way God’s doing something, it’s probably our problem, not his.
This presents a problem, though, if we’re to have a real relationship with God. In any relationship, we get frustrated and part of a healthy relationship is the ability to express that frustration.
