We struggle to offer grace to people we feel don’t deserve it – which is, ironically, exactly who needs grace. Uncovering the true biblical origins of Satan helps us come face to face with this graceless impulse. It turns out, refusing to extend grace to others is what makes us truly Satanic. How can we choose to be a grace-filled people?

But if we take another look at some of the most infamous villains of all time, we may find they're more human than we thought. We may see ourselves in their reflection. We might find we're walking the path of villainy - and once we see that, we can turn toward God's life!

Jesus’ resurrection wasn’t the end of the story; it was the beginning of God’s new creation. The Resurrection is God’s first step toward reclaiming creation, and we get to be a part of it. By choosing to follow Jesus, we leave the old reality dominated by sin and death and step into God’s kingdom, where we find life. This new life has already begun. And yet we’re also still waiting, because God’s kingdom has not yet come in full. How do we live in the tension between the Already and the Not Yet?
