Does it seem these days that people don’t ask good questions? Questions come with barbs all over them, or are asked in such a way that the answer is already obvious. God coming into the world raises some big questions about how we live in the wake of his coming. But we need to ask the right questions. This series will explore the questions asked of Paul by the Christians in Corinth. We’ll get at the questions behind their questions, to the good news for all of us – even here at the dawn of the 21st century. Jesus has come into the world, and nothing has been the same since.

How does Jesus’ coming change our world today?

A New Hope

Go There!

We are a nation of rebels, in a world of rebellion. We’ve all chosen our way, our vision of the good life, at the cost of someone else, on both personal and national levels. And when we stop to consider the fate of rebels in our world, the picture isn’t pretty. But Peter’s explanation of the meaning of a miraculous healing reveals good news: God has launched a counter-rebellion against humanity, one that means life and hope for both the rebels and the Empire. In God’s new world, everyone gets life!

From Series: "Go There!"

What lines are you afraid to cross? In the years immediately following Jesus’ resurrection, his followers had to reimagine what their religion looked like. The Holy Spirit compelled them to take the good news of resurrection and new life far beyond every border they’d ever known. The book of Acts helps us imagine the dangerous and exciting mission God is calling us to today. Don’t Go There!
