Does it seem these days that people don’t ask good questions? Questions come with barbs all over them, or are asked in such a way that the answer is already obvious. God coming into the world raises some big questions about how we live in the wake of his coming. But we need to ask the right questions. This series will explore the questions asked of Paul by the Christians in Corinth. We’ll get at the questions behind their questions, to the good news for all of us – even here at the dawn of the 21st century. Jesus has come into the world, and nothing has been the same since.

How does Jesus’ coming change our world today?

When to Speak Up

Cringeworthy

What do you do when you hear someone tell a racist joke? Speaking up is hard - it makes us all feel awkward. And it's even worse to be called out. Why don't we just keep to ourselves? Paul's confrontation with Peter in Antioch illustrates why we have to speak up: God calls us all to be one, and we can't be one until we have justice. So what does that look like?

From Series: "Cringeworthy"

Why do we feel awkward? And when we feel awkward, what, exactly, are we feeling? In this series, we're going to explore some of the most awkward stories in the Bible. Because awkwardness has a surprising spiritual promise - we can discover sins that were hidden to us, but known to God. If we're willing to let God make it awkward, we can find hope and healing!
