Lent is a chance to slow down, to attend to all the little things that become habits that separate us from God.

New Year's Resolutions are a ritual that seem to set us up for failure. We laugh at our inability to keep them, to actually improve our lives in significant, meaningful ways. Genesis 1 demonstrates that if we want our lives to have meaning, we must live according to the Order, the Way God set up for us. This order is available to us again in the wake of Jesus' death and resurrection!
