What good are denominations? Are they just markers of our inability to be one family? Or are they more like siblings in God's family? We explore our denomination, the Church of the Nazarene, and how it helps us know God better.

In this series, we'll explore our four sources of knowing God: what we experience in our life, the cloud of witnesses we call the church both local and universal, our ability to reason and the Scriptures. How does each of these four sources help us better know God?

We’re taught by our culture that we should be self-sufficient. But God never designed us to do life alone. We don’t find success in chasing one more God-moment. Rather, we should look for those who are Before, Beside and Behind us. We’ll call these intentional, life-giving relationships “mentoring relationships“. What do these relationships look like? How can we foster them in our daily lives?
