Make Time to Take Time
We buy into the myth of productivity, the story that says we are what we make. That we should always be 'on', always going, always working. But God tells us that to be fully human, to be everything we were created to be, we must rest. God calls us to Sabbath, to lay down the things we do so that we can be the people we were created to be.

The future can be a scary thing – especially because it doesn’t come with a roadmap. But when God calls us, we rarely get all the details. How do we move forward faithfully when we don’t know where we’re going? Advent invites us to anticipate well, to look to our fathers and mothers as they longed for God’s rescue.
