Artefacts: Monuments
All systems are comprised of physical artefacts. As we begin our exploration of systemic racism in America, we investigate the Confederate monuments we're removing all over the country. How should persons of faith understand this issue, and more importantly: how does that illuminate how the artefacts in our daily lives are racialized too?

During this series, we’ve been exploring the three temptations using Dostoyevsky’s “The Grand Inquisitor”.
This Sunday, we’re going to switch things up. I’m going to share some of my own fiction that I’ve used to reflect on the nature of Jesus third test.
What did it mean that Satan told Jesus to worship him? How could Satan offer up the kingdoms of the world?
