CloseOften today, when we say "Thank You" we really mean "I owe you". Our relationships are a constant struggle to stay "in the black", to keep from owing anyone. But Jesus tells us that in his kingdom, our relationships are about staying in the red, about giving to each other. "Thank You" in God's kingdom should affirm our relationship with the other person. We should really be saying "I love you."
