Telling the Whole Story
When we're struggling, we need a community where it's safe to grieve, ask questions and be vulnerable. Unfortunately, Church is often a place we have to fake it. But God invites both thanksgiving and lament - both are vital to our spiritual health. So how can we be a community that tells the whole story of God?

What does it mean that God is FOR the world? Epiphany is the season that celebrates the revelation of God to the world. Epiphany asks, Who is this god who came among us? Like the mixtapes young lovers used to make, we’re listening to the songs of God’s prophets and poets because such a powerful love can really only be expressed in song. Too often, we think faith is about winning – getting our way in the culture or in our homes. But during Lent, we’ll trace the human journey through the Old Testament and see that getting what we want never works out like we hope. We’ll see how Jesus enters into our failure and becomes a loser just like us. Somehow, his failure is good news for us.
