How often do we expect people to learn to speak our Christian language to understand Jesus' good news? What if instead we imagined how Jesus' good news might sound if we translated it into terms they already know?

Talking to people about Jesus is nerve-wracking. In this Epiphany series, we're going to explore how Jesus met people where they were - and what was so good about the news he shared. Ultimately, we'll see that sharing Jesus with people is easier than we ever imagined. All it takes is a lot of love.

How many times have you heard about one of those spectacular events in the Old Testament and thought, “It must be nice!” If only I had seen the Red Sea part, or Elijah’s showdown on Mt. Carmel. Then it’d be so easy to trust God! But apparently that’s not true. We see again and again that the big events aren’t what transform us into God’s people. Rather, we find God in the ordinary phenomena we see every day.
